Please contact your local school to see if they have a FIRST Tech Challenge team established. If not, consider starting a team yourself. Once a team has been identified in order to participate in FIRST Tech Challenge the team coach or representative must go through the following steps:
National Registration through FIRST opens in May and will close in October.

Once the national registration is complete the coach or team representative must register with FIRST Washington. Please click here for state registration. This link will be live September 27-October 7, 2016. Once you complete this second step you will be placed into a league and the coach will be notified. In addition, once leagues have been created after October 2016 you will be able to search for local events in Washington here.

FIRST Washington registration fees are non-refundable even if an event has been cancelled due to weather or situations out of FIRST Washington’s control.
