The FTC State Championships is whether you have qualified or not, his Sunday at Showare Center. We will also be running our Western Washington FLL State Championships at the same time. 2. We need your photos
We are looking for some great FTC photos to put on our new website. We would love for you to send your top photo for the year! It could be of students building, competing, interacting etc… We would love to see photos that reflect the diversity of your team. Please send them to Erin McCallum at erin@firstwa.org
3. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Workshop
FIRST Washington is committed to working with teams to help them reflect the diversity in their community. One way we are doing this is by hosting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Workshops around the area. We will be hosting one of these workshops at our State Championship event on Sunday as well as some of our FRC events in March. We sent this back in November but just wanted to send a reminder to coaches that may have forgotton to respond.
Teachers, please help us! FIRST Washington is working with Boeing and other industry to document which of you use any of the following curriculum to enhance and teach skills to your team members. The following we specifically want to know are: CorePlus, PTLW, Skills USA. Please drop Erin McCallum, erin@firstwa.org a quick note if you are and which of these programs you are using with your team or at least some of your team members are being exposed to in the classroom.
