What is Change the World?
The Change the World Virtual Lunch is a chance for the FIRST Washington community to come together and showcase teams, coaches, mentors, volunteers, and alumni while raising money to continue our mission of STEM education.
When and where is Change the World?
The Change the World lunch event will be hosted virtually this year on April 17, 2020, noon-1pm. The Virtual Showcase will be broadcasted and will highlight all four programs, student and alumni stories and employers who hire FIRST alumni.
What is the cost and where do the funds go?
This is a complimentary event to attend, so no registration fee. Please sign up here and help us spread the word by inviting your friends. During the program, we hope that you will be inspired to make a donation. Our fundraising goal for this event is $100,000 and donations of all levels are welcomed! As an organization that is supporting over 15,000 students 6-18, each of us has the ability to give what we can.
Funds raised will go to support FIRST Washington teams and deliver programs including our robotics competitions. With 82% of all FIRST Washington’s revenue generated from charitable contributions, your gift will help!
Can I host a virtual table for this event?
Yes, you can and we would love if you did! Hosting a virtual table is easy to do. Set up your personal fundraising page here and follow instructions in setting up your page.
Can anyone participate?
Yes! We want to bring our community together to stay strong during this time of need, and this event is our opportunity to do so! We invite all teams, coaches, mentors, and volunteers to join us for this virtual event!
