Our teams are thrilled to be co-hosting your FLL Qualifier! \nWe are one week away from the event. Here are some quick logistics which may be particularly helpful for rookie coaches. 😊 \nMost Important \nA coach from every team needs to submit a printed copy of a filled-in roster when checking in the day of the event (all green checkmarks\, no red crosses!). The volunteers have exactly one hour to set up before 8am and we will need every minute of it.\nEvery team has a pre-assigned pit table with the team number on it.\nPlease bring extension cords\, power strips and gaffer tape. This is a typical middle school. The pits are in the Café. The power outlets are on the periphery\, so you will all have to create a grid of power cables and will need to tape them down\, so we don’t have accidents. In the spirit of Gracious Professionalism\, we would like to suggest that teams bring a few more extension cords and power strips to help out teams that forget theirs. Please label all equipment with your team number so we can find the rightful owners in case they are left behind.\n\nPractice Tables \nWe have a Practice Area where we would like to have 2 tables (this is dependent on teams volunteering to bring their equipment!). The practice area is near Pit Admin and there will be a signup sheet with time slots. Teams will be required to have coaches with them. We will have at least 2 volunteers overseeing the area\, as well. We will take the utmost care to make sure that the mission models don’t get damaged\, or acquire feet\, fins or wings. Teams that are competing on Saturday\, please consider lending your table\, mat and mission model sets for both days to reduce setup issues. We encourage teams that are not competing to attend as spectators! It can be a great experience for your students to see the top teams compete against each other.    \nAmazon requires that everyone who enters the meeting center register at the front desk.  What does this mean for spectators?  \n\nAny one over 18 will need to show ID \nIf you bring your entire team and have not pre-registered\, plan for it to take 15 minutes or so to get everyone registered and badged. \nIf you are not competing\, please wait until after 9:00 am to arrive\, prior to that\, we want the focus to be getting participating team students\, mentors and their families inside the building. \nIf you are bringing your team as a group\, you can fill out an excel spreadsheet to pre register.  You will need to have that spreadsheet to me by noon on Jan 27th so I can pass the info along to Amazon.  Send me an email if you would like a copy of the spreadsheet sent to you to fill out.   \n\n  \nSchedule:\n7:00AM – 7:30AM Volunteer check in and breakfast\n8:00AM Volunteer training\n9:00AM Judging begins\n12:30PM Lunch\n1:00PM Opening ceremonies/robot matches start\n4:00PM – 5:00PM Closing ceremonies
