Calling all public school FLL, FTC, and FRC teams!
We still have plenty of funds left in the Washington ARP Act for the 2022-2023 season. If you are a public-school team, you are eligible for funding. These funds can be used in a variety of ways, and we encourage everyone to apply as soon as you’re able.
These funds can used to –
Support Students Furthest from Educational Justice
Prepare for Health and Safety
Invest in Connectivity and Hardware
Leverage Local Expertise and Provide Training
How to Apply?
A district must apply through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction’s (OSPI) ESSER iGrants Form Package, FP 975, in order to receive an ESSER formula sub grant.
Thank you to all the teams that came out and celebrated SeaFair with us! In classic Seattle style, this weekend showed off the best of local aerospace and nautical industries. FIRST Washington teams had the opportunity to teach members of the community about robotics and their love for all things FIRST Washington.
And a special thanks to our longstanding partnership with Boeing for giving us the opportunity to engage with so many community members passionate about STEM!
Over 500 students stopped by FIRST Washington’s booth at the Back to School Bash hosted by the Hapo Center in Tri Cities. Hanford’s FTC brought their robot, and helped pass out school supplies, all while sharing the thrill of FIRST programs!
If your school is interested in starting a FIRST Washington team, email Adrianna Miller at adriannam@firstwa.org.
