PwC Virtual Workshops
Prepare for 2020/2021: Strengthen and build your team’s skills around financial literacy and project management/business planning. PwC who is a wonderful supporter of FIRST and FIRST Washington has offered to facilitate three sessions supporting our teams in FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge, and FIRST Robotics Competition. FIRST Washington is deeply committed to team sustainability and part of that work is around proper business, budget, and fundraising planning. Please join us for one of these sessions (program appropriate). To confirm your participation sign up here. Coaches/Mentors, Students, and Parents are all encouraged to participate.

What is your team doing?
We have all been challenged by the events in the past weeks. I have been reminded, however, of how resilient our teams/students are when I look at my Facebook page and see all of the wonderful things that FIRST teams are doing to support their local community. We are also trying to brainstorm ways we can keep our fantastic community connected and supporting each other. As we were brainstorming, we realized that we needed to reach out to our best resource…all of you! Please take a minute to fill out this survey to share with us how your team is doing, how we can better support you, and help us figure out ways to keep our community connected during this time of social distancing.
I appreciate and miss all of you and look forward to when I can see you all face to face again!
Creating a virtual community – Friends of FIRST WA & ORTOP Facebook group
We are working to connect everyone through a Facebook group. As a result, we have created Friends of FIRST Washington and ORTOP. This group is for all teams in all programs. We are hoping you will all use it as a way to connect, get to know your neighbors from other programs better as well as find a way to collaborate and support each other. The group is public so please search Friends of FIRST Washington and ORTOP, join the group, post and invite others (Mentors, students over 13, parents etc…)
