Engineering Career Panel, featuring Boeing engineers from across the enterprise
WATCH HERE | 55 minutes
In this career panel, you’ll hear from six diverse Boeing engineers representing mechanical, aerospace, electrical, structural, systems and production engineering. This is the perfect opportunity for students to increase their understanding of different engineering disciplines.
Solve It STEM Challenge
This challenge encourages students to think like an engineer and includes the following resources:
- A short video that teachers can share with their students to introduce the challenge
- An extended reality video
- A semi-autonomous propulsion lesson from Boeing Future U (for three 45-60-minute class periods)
Students will research the challenges and obstacles with exploring and navigating the ocean floor and then design a solution to modify the self-propelling model boat to solve a problem.
Solve It STEM Challenge: Engineering Challenge Q&A and Panel
WATCH HERE | 37 minutes
Students who participated in the Solve It STEM Challenge project ask questions and obtain feedback from two Boeing engineers, and learn the processes they use to solve problems while working with an exciting career on an autonomous undersea vehicle.
