Power Play Coach Email Volume 16: 12-6-22 – Interleague events are around the corner

If you are new to this email this is the place where you will find all of the Washington specific FIRST Tech Challenge information. Coaches in the FIRST system for the Power Play season will be added weekly. Every email from me will be numbered and that number lets you know which update it is, if you miss an update you can find it on our website.

Interleague events are upon us!
Our Interleague events are less than 2 weeks away. If you haven’t already, you should be receiving an email from either your event host or me in the next day or so with high level information. Keep watching your emails for more details as we get closer to the event date.

Our next Coaches Chat will be 7:00 pm next Tuesday, December 13
We will have our next Coaches Chat on Tuesday, December 13th from 7-8 pm. For those of you who are new to FTC, this is an opportunity to see what is going on with FTC in Washington as well as to connect with other coaches in Washington and share ideas.
Kevin Ross will be on hand to talk about judging at our Interleague events. I recommend you have at least one adult attend if possible.

Dean’s list nominees need to be submitted by December 15
We will be having a remote Dean’s List Remote Interview event in January. Students must be nominated from your firstinspires dashboard. The portal closes the 15th of the month prior to when the interviews will happen so make sure to get your nominees in right away!
