Your robot must start from the launch area and complete the mission according to the official rules. It does not need to return home unless required by the mission. Also submit a copy of the mission program (screen shots are acceptable). You may optionally submit separate entries for both missions. Each completed mission will earn the team a raffle ticket in a drawing for a prize and a certificate of completion!

Message from Kevin Ross about the FIRST Washington Fieldhouse
I wanted to let you know about some news from FIRST Washington. Many of you already know that we have a Fieldhouse in Kent WA that we use as our offices and staging area for all FIRST programs in Washington state as well as the PNW. This building has been our home since 2013. During normal years, this facility has provided us with a great space to work in. It is, however, quite expensive for us to keep while we are not able to run in person events and staff are now working remotely from home. In terms of a building, it is also a little large for what we need. Additionally, We are expecting increases in our rental costs when our lease renews next fall. Buildings cost by the square foot, we have too many for our needs.
We have made the decision to put our equipment in storage until next fall and move out of our fieldhouse. This will create a huge savings for FIRST Washington and will allow us to continue operating remotely. We will move into a new smaller building in the fall to resume our field operations for the 2021-2022 season. We expect to be out of our existing building by Feb 1st.

FIRST Washington Grant Closes Tomorrow!
FIRST Washington grant is open. It is more important than ever this year to register and fill this grant out as soon as possible if you want to participate this season. It is our goal to make sure that everyone who wants to participate can, and don’t want money to be a barrier. Additionally, if your team is in a stronger financial position, consider donating funds to allow other teams to be able to participate this season. If you are able to make a donation to support a struggling team, please email me at jacquegfirstwa.org
The grant will close December 31st, click here to fill out the FIRST Washington Grant.
