When does FIRST® LEGO® League happen?

Teams typically meet September through November with their first tournament in early December. Many teams then advance to semi-finals in January followed by the state championship late January/early February. FIRST Washington has the opportunity to award 2-3 teams who have made it to the state championship to advance to the world championship in Houston, Texas in April.
