If you are new to this email this is the place where you will find all of the Washington specific FIRST Tech Challenge information. Coaches in the FIRST system for the ULTIMATE GOAL season will be added weekly. Every email from me will be numbered and that number lets you know which update it is, if you miss an update you can find it on our website.
Here are the updates I have for you today:
- First round of league events wraps up today!
- Drivers meeting for second round of league events, this Thursday at 7:00 pm
- Fun night hosted by 8923 Friday, April 9 at 7:00 pm
First round of league events ends today!
Just a reminder to everyone that the first round of league events ends today so be sure to have your matches all run and scores uploaded before 11:59 pm tonight. The event will automatically shut off and we will not be able to help you submit scores if you miss the deadline. Don’t wait until the last minute, get scores uploaded early!
The drivers meeting for our second round of events will be this Thursday at 7:00 pm (coaches meeting is next Tuesday at 7:00)
Please forward this meeting info on to your students. Last week, we had a great meeting, the students were engaged and asked good questions. Coaches are welcome to join but please remember to keep your camera off and your microphone muted . You will have the opportunity to ask all of your questions next Tuesday.

Fun night hosted by 8923 Friday, April 9 at 7:00 pm
8923 would like to invite you to our weekly Murder Mystery night. Every Friday starting April 9th we will have a zoom meeting for the event. Students will be in groups and go around talking to different characters trying to solve that month’s murder. Each month there will be a different theme and throughout the month, the mystery will pick up from the last meeting. If students wish to play a character in the event they can message us at ftc8923@swerverobtics.org. this is an opportunity for everyone, so make sure to join us!” Something along those lines at least, I’m not sure how well that works in an email format
The next time they do it will be on April 9th. Please feel free to share this to all. We will be opening the meeting at 6:30 for the performers to be able to register with Emily and get their parts. The general group is invited to come at 7 pm.
