    Greetings Coaches!

    If you are new to this email this is the place where you will find all of the Washington specific FIRST Tech Challenge information. Coaches in the FIRST system for the ULTIMATE GOAL season will be added weekly. Every email from me will be numbered and that number lets you know which update it is, if you miss an update you can find it on our website.

    What are your plans for this season?

    We want to provide you with the best experience we can this season and to do that it would really help us to know how many of you plan to return. Even if you don’t know your plans for sure, it helps us to know that you are currently undecided. IF you haven’t already registered for the season (My assumption is you plan to return if you have registered) and haven’t yet filled out the survey, please take just a minute to do so. For those of you who have filled out the survey and left comments (Thank You!) I will be following up with you in the next week.

    Coaches Chat Sept 22, 7:00 pm

    We will be having our second coaches chat at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, Sept 22. For this meeting we will be using zoom rather than GoTo Meeting so that it can be more of a conversation. One topic we would like to discuss now that everyone has seen the challenge for this year is: What are people’s thoughts on transitioning from remote events to in person events (if that is a possibility this year) recognizing that robot designs and function will differ greatly between the two.

    We plan to start having these meetings monthly so mark you calendar for the 4th Tuesday of every month!
