SUMMARY:OR Girls’ Generation / FIRST Chance
DESCRIPTION:Oregon Girls’ Gen will be October 5 at Wilsonville High School. This is a girl-focused event\, run as a one-day competition.  Registration fee is $250 and teams are asked to register as soon as possible\, so volunteers can plan.  The $250 fee is covered by a generous grant for teams from Oregon who are fielding an all-girls team for the event.    \n\n\nOregon FIRST Chance will be October 6th at Wilsonville HS.  This one-day event is for all students and aimed at providing an opportunity for students new to FRC to attend a pre-season event.  Registration is $250 for this event. \n\n\nTeams that register and attend both events save – registration is $350 for the two events combined.  For teams bringing an extra robot to either event\, registration for the extra robot is $100. Please contact registrar@ortop.org with questions about registration or fees. \n\n\nRegister for Girls’ Gen and FIRST Chance here.    \n\n\nVolunteers are needed and appreciated\, and a reminder that for recent alums and mentors who have been wanting to try out volunteering for key positions like Referee\, A/V\, Robot Inspector\, or other positions – these events are great places to start.  Contact Tim Bennington-Davis at dechouse@cs.com if you are interested. \n\n\nDeadline for registration is August 26th.  \nEvent Volunteers – Event set up will take place October 4th (time TBD).
