    • Virtual Pits moving to Sunday, Feb 7 at 1:00 pm

    Hello FTC & FRC Students, Alumni, Parents, Mentors & Coaches

     

    I want to apologize to everyone for the confusion on the virtual pits this Sunday. As we announced earlier, we are moving out of our warehouse that we have occupied for 7 years. Normally we would rally volunteers and have it done right away but with COVID we have a very small group of staff members packing up our entire warehouse so it can be loaded into containers next week.

     

    I was rushing to get communications out to everyone and realized that I TOTALLY messed up the dates and times in multiple places. Heidi, Christine and all of you deserve much better and with it being so close to the virtual pit date, we decided to postpone it until Feb 7 to make sure that everyone could plan their schedule accordingly.

     

    I hate sending multiple emails because I don’t want to SPAM all of you but I want to make sure the things we do for you offer value and after my very confusing email, it seemed best to just move it and notify everyone right away. Below is the information for the new date, I hope you all are able to attend!

     

    Our Next virtual pits Sunday, Feb 7, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

     

    Our second virtual pits for 2021 will be Sunday, Feb 7 at 1:00 pm. Based on feedback from the last round of virtual pits, we ask each team that hosts a pit to have a short 5 min presentation about their team which will allow 5 min for Q & A at the end. We will be announcing when it is time to switch pits for the first hour and the second hour will be much more free form.

     

    We have invited both FRC & FTC teams to to join us in this virtual pit session and are excited at the opportunity for you all to socialize together.

     

    Once again, please fill out this form if you either want a pit or would like to host a workshop during the virtual pits (you can do either, both or neither!) Not interested in hosting a pit or a workshop, no problem! Stop by just to see what everyone is up to and chat with other FIRST folks from the PNW (and possibly other regions)

     

    Heidi Lovett & Christine Nichols have very graciously offered to host this virtual pits so lets give them a good showing!
