Teams must pay their registration prior to their first League Meet

If you are unsure if you have paid the FIRST Washington registration fee.  You can check your status here:  https://firstwa.org/ftc-registration/  This report is updated manually once a day so it won’t reflect a payment immediately after it occurs.

Make sure you are prepared for your first league meet

You want to make sure you go into your first meet prepared so you can focus on your students and the competition and make sure everyone has a great time!  Here are a few reminders so you can come to your event prepared:

  • Make sure your team is Event Ready (Two coaches listed who have passed Youth Protection screening as well as signed their consent forms and completed any necessary trainings
  • Team Roster Printed – You will need to turn in a team roster at every event you attend
  • Make sure you pack:
  • Safety Glasses
  • Your robot (it will be a short day if you forget it 😊 )
  • Extension cord and power strip.  Power is sometimes further away and you need an extension cord to get to it.  It is also shared so having a power strip helps ensure you have several plugs if you need them
  • Tools
  • Snacks and drinks/water
  • Safety Glasses (don’t forget these!)
  • Gracious Professionalism – Remember everyone at your league event is a volunteer so make sure to be kind and gracious to volunteers and the other teams at your event.
