Last week’s coaches chat is posted on firstwa.org
We went over kickoff registration as well as how to secure your registration with FIRST on this call. Most teams are not yet secured with FIRST, this needs to be done by 11-17.

Secure your registration with FIRST HQ prior to 11-17
As of this morning, 86 teams still need to secure your registration with FIRST.
Remember, this year, you need to secure your FIRST HQ registration directly with FIRST by November 17. This process can take a little while (and can also be confusing)
We went over how to do this at during last week’s coaches chat and even had a coach demonstrate the process so be sure to watch the recording of last week’s coaches chat if you want to see what the process looks like.
A few things to note:
- Once you have secured your registration, you are not able to change your kickoff/kit pick up choice, so check to make sure you have made the correct selection prior to securing your registration
- For your kickoff/kit pick up choice
- You do not need to attend the full kickoff to pick up your kit
- If you only want to pick your kit up from a kickoff, select that kickoff and just put a 1 for number of people attending
- It can take up to 20 minutes for your kickoff selection to show when you go to check out so allow time for this
- It will ask where you want your kit shipped when you are in your cart. Most teams want their kit shipped to a local kickoff. If you enter an address, the kit will be shipped there, you will be charged for shipping AND your kit will not ship until after kickoff so make sure that is really what you want before you secure your registration.
FIRST Washington is offering free 3rd plays at SunDome
For teams looking for a 3rd play:
- There are no 3rd play options in Western Washington
- There are minimal 3rd play options in Oregon
- We have tons of room in SunDome! In an effort to increase the number of teams at that event, we will be waiving the $1000 third play registration fee so if you are thinking about signing up for a 3rd play, consider signing up for SunDome!
