FIRST LEGO League Explore Registration
FIRST Registration
Team Registration at firstinspires.org for FIRST LEGO League Explore in the 2023/2024 season is $125 and includes:
- Official FIRST LEGO League Explore team number
- 1 MASTERPIECE Explore Set
- Printed/Digital Team Meeting Guide and student Engineering Notebooks (additional Engineering Notebooks available to purchase while supplies last)
- FIRST Thinkscape access to digital guidebooks, getting started materials, and more
- Access to team roster to register coaches and participants
- Ability to register for FIRST LEGO League Explore Festivals (varies by region)
Team Registration fee does not include shipping and handling, registration to FIRST LEGO League Explore Festivals, nor guarantees that remote or in-person Festivals are available in your area. Additional costs for event participation, travel, food, team shirts and other optional items will vary.
Additional cost considerations Include:
- New FIRST LEGO League Explore teams can expect to pay approximately $400 for team registration and a reusable LEGO Education SPIKETM Essential set.
- Veteran teams will pay less since the LEGO Education SPIKE Essential sets can be used year after year. Team registration must be purchased every season.
FIRST Washington Registration
- FIRST Washington runs the FIRST LEGO League Explore Festivals which may include physical, remote, or a combination of physical and remote elements.
- FIRST Washington charges an additional fee of $50 fee to participate in their Festival events, and those fees are set and collected by FIRST Washington.
FIRST Washington FLL Explore Event Registration
- FLL Explore teams are required to fill out an event registration form indicating their 2 event preferences.
- Once the FIRST Washington fee of $50 is secured, teams will be confirmed in one of their 2 preferences.
